SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT THAILAND OPENING 28-SEPTEMBER -2006
It was a great honor and privilege for New Bangkok
International Airport Co., Ltd. (NBIA) when, on 29 January 2000,
His Majesty the King of Thailand conferred the name of
Suvarnabhumi Airport (Suvarnabhumi meaning gGolden Landh)
and auspiciously performed the Foundation Stone
Laying Ceremony on 19 January 2002.
